Kento Yamazaki (live action Alice’s Endless Land, kingdom, Wotakoi: Otaku love is difficult, The disastrous life of Saiki KOrange, Hyou-ka, April is your lie) plays the protagonist Hei Yunyin, and Hamabe Minami (Godzilla minus one, new kamen riderlive action Well of Gamblingsaki, The Promised Neverland) plays the heroine Ayaka Noguchi.

Fukuda Yuichi (live action Gintama, Wotakoi: Otaku love is difficult, holy youth, The disastrous life of Saiki K Films) is writing and directing the film. This is Yamazaki’s third starring role in a film after Fukuda’s film wait and Saiki K.and Hamabe’s first major collaboration with either Yamazaki or Fukuda, although Hamabe had a cameo in the live-action version Super salaried Mr. Saenai A series directed by Fukuda.
