Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead has confirmed that it plans to publish a blog post tomorrow, September 5th, which will tell you “all the information you need” about the current progress of the studio’s 60-day plan.
“As you know, we’re working relentlessly on our 60-day commitment plan,” the studio announced yesterday via the game’s Discord server. “To do this, we’re changing the frequency of updates during this period.”

“This Thursday, we’ll be publishing a new blog detailing our progress to date, the fixes we’ve made, and the delivery dates for these updates,” it continued. “This will give you all the information you need and Our planned deadline for first delivery.
Since the announcement, CEO Shams Jorjani has also been on the server to answer some player questions. He’s typically tight-lipped about what’s included in tomorrow’s update post, noting that Arrowhead CCO Johan Pilestedt has “shared some information about the game’s next balance patch.”
“The trick is to make the weapons feel powerful (yay), but the game isn’t easy (shh),” Jorgiani reiterated in response to a player who asked for details. “Maybe there are more dangerous enemies? Maybe softer divers ? Let’s see what the team has in store for you. The executive also declined to provide any specific information about upcoming features, such as the space station mentioned in last month’s major order, saying: “We have a lot of teams working on it. Work on different things in parallel. Some planned… soon. Others… much later.
He did say to a player who came up with an idea for a modified thermite grenade: “Tell me again in two weeks how you feel.” That is, given that Jojani later told another player, asking if that response suggested thermite Changes, or just “general hype,” he said: “I don’t know anything about thermite in the game currently, but liked it in the development build I played yesterday. We’ll see on patch day the final result.
In addition to this, the executive said that “progress” has been made with the help of feedback on the game’s long-term progress that he asked the Reddit subreddit last month. “This is definitely at the top of the list of priorities that are being discussed,” he added, referring to plans to soon solicit Reddit suggestions on “another topic.” Oh, and he also suggested that he’d be willing to give up his eldest son for the Helldiver anime, which is understandable.
