LEGO teams up with Pharrell Williams to launch new sets

The LEGO Group has collaborated once again with musical artist Pharrell Williams, this time with a new set inspired by Williams’ love of space.

Williams is no stranger to the Lego scene. Earlier this year, the LEGO Group revealed the release of little by littlea Lego animated biopic telling Williams’ story. The movie will be released on October 11th this year, but before then, Williams’ new LEGO set will be released. The LEGO Icons Over the Moon and Pharrell Williams sets are now available for pre-order and will begin shipping on September 20th.

The Over the Moon set is an adult LEGO set featuring a buildable space shuttle with a golden canopy and rainbow rapids. The set also includes two minifigures and the widest range of minifigure skin tones ever offered in a LEGO product, with over 51 different minifigure heads to choose from. Pushing LEGO’s boundaries even further, this set also features new color combinations, such as a custom windshield canopy that’s drum-painted gold.

Williams’ collaboration with LEGO isn’t limited to his upcoming movies and new scenes. The company will also launch a new LEGO Build the Change global challenge in partnership with Williams’ non-profit organization Yellow.
