Earlier this year, LEGO launched its first Dungeons and Dragons Celebrating 50 years of gaming. It’s pretty good, but has some room for improvement, and one of the generally great things about it besides its few R&D Minifigures. Now, the good news is we’re about to get more of these.
As part of LEGO’s reveal of upcoming sets at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, the toymaker confirmed that its next wave of blind box collectible minifigures will be themed around: Dungeons and Dragons. The series will feature 12 characters, including universal characters inspired by various backgrounds and class archetypes in the game, as well as iconic villains for them to fight, such as the Mind Flayer (something for everyone) Baldur’s Gate 3 habits (you may have already planned this), or come up with names for characters like the evil vampire Strahd Von Zarovich or the witch queen Tasha. Here’s another comprehensive look at the minifigures, along with a detailed look at who’s who.

Each figure includes at least one accessory, such as the Intellect Devourer that comes with the Mind Flayer, or the various weapons that come with the Adventurer. Cleverly, like little figures in larger Lego bricks R&D In the set, several of the Adventurer minifigures have additional face prints on the backs of their heads, so you can submerge them to change the gender presented. This is a fun way to both use characters to represent your own tabletop heroes, and to make up for when you’re trying to complete a collection to get a double of a character.
Lego Dungeons and Dragons The collection of collectible minifigures is now available for pre-order from LEGO and will be available on September 1st in a blind box for $5 each.
