brave squire It immediately attracted widespread attention due to its combination of 2D art and gameplay with 3D action and models. Now this much hyped and highly anticipated Salda-A similar indie game will launch in September. It launched on PS Plus on day one.
Announced as early as 2022, brave squire It tells the story of a, uh, brave little country squire who must save his world from the evil Humgrump. To do this, you fight enemies and solve puzzles in interconnected 2D and 3D levels, allowing you to seamlessly jump between them. It was this ability to jump between dimensions that caught my attention when the game was first announced with a 2023 release date two years ago. That didn’t happen, but now we also have a new release date and a gorgeous new trailer.
As announced in an August 15 PlayStation Blog post, brave squire It will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC on September 17th.
PlayStation also announced brave squire Will be available to all PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers on day one. (This excludes those who subscribe to the base Essential tier.) It’s an interesting move, and one that Sony has rarely made over the past few years. Indie darlings tend to launch on Game Pass on day one, But the times they are changing and brave squire Will be a PS Plus freebie.
September is shaping up to be a busy month for PS5 owners who enjoy colorful and fun platformers. astronomy robot, Team Asobi’s next exciting platformer will launch as a PS5 exclusive on September 6th. A week and a half later, Plucky Squire will be available on PS5 (and other platforms).
Two hilarious and energetic games featuring lovable heroes coming out in the same month? I’m not complaining!
