Little Tikes offers a new cooking role play kit for aspiring chefs or anyone in the family who loves playing with food.
The Little Tikes Creative Chefs Collection features themed play food kits with Make-It Mix Play Sand, 10-22 accessories, visual recipe cards and molds. The packaging also converts into a game table so young chefs can practice table manners.
There are eight different kits so kids with different pretend taste buds can find the perfect pretend food to make. Families can choose from pizza, waffles, ice cream, nachos, cookies, pies, peanut butter and jelly and baker’s (cupcake) kits. Everything included in the kit is similar to what kids would see when they start practicing their cooking skills with real food.
Kids can scoop peanut butter and jelly colored sand onto bread, use cookie cutters to make sand cookies, and more. These kits encourage creativity, help little ones develop their fine motor skills, and can foster a love of cooking and an understanding of its fundamentals.
To celebrate the launch of the range, Little Tikes has teamed up with food artist and content creator Beau Coffron, known to parents as “Lunchbox Dad.” Inspired by the lunches he prepares for his children, Coffron creates fun dishes and offers tips, recipes and more to other parents. Now, through the Instagram and TikTok series, your family can watch Coffron play with the Creative Chef Kit and get creative with him!
Parents and cooks can find these kits at the link below—they’re only available at Walmart and range in price. Keep in mind that while these kits look very realistic, they are not edible.
