Learn, grow and read with your new Dr. Seuss baby

Characters like the Cat in the Hat, The Grinch and more are iconic protagonists for many families – and now you can find them as babies!

Dr. Seuss Enterprises introduces Dr. Seuss Babies—infant versions of the iconic character—for your family to read, learn, and grow with. There are books, films, etc. that feature these little characters.

The new book will include rhyming text, bright colors and adorable babies. The story of the debut, Happy first birthday! currently available for pre-order – you can expect it to join your bookshelf in January. Readers will follow the baby versions of The Cat in the Hat, First Things, and Second Things as they celebrate milestone birthdays. This 22-page flip board book also comes with a mirror.

Next year, families can also look forward to two additional Dr. Seuss Babies books: mr brown at the farm will be released in May, and Merry Christmas, baby! It will be available in September next year. Additionally, three Dr. Seuss Babies books will join the series in 2026!

You can also watch it in a series called Dr. Seuss Babies Literacy. The series, which airs on Dr. Seuss’s YouTube channel, will help viewers develop phonics reading skills through letters and sounds. Now families can watch the first episode of “Learning to Read with the Fox in Socks,” a six-minute episode in which Dr. Seuss babies teach children how to spell.

If your family loves the Dr. Seuss baby movies and books, you can plan to add these characters to different parts of your home. Baby-themed baby and toddler products – including feeding solutions, diapers and onesies – are coming soon. You can expect different products from popular brands like Posh Peanut, Hello Bello and Playtex Baby.
