What you need to know:
- Kotaro Nishiyama made his debut on Lantis Records in October 2020 and will release his third mini album “my bag” on March 14, 2025. This is his first album release in about three and a half years. This mini-album is based on the concept of “favorites” and reflects Xishan’s daily happiness, such as favorite items, moments and spaces.
- The title song “Koukishin BOY” (Curious Boy) was written and composed by singer and composer Kohei Dojima, and arranged by Dojima and Shinya Saito (Onikawahara). The uplifting lyrics of “Koukishin BOY” encourage listeners to pursue what they love in their daily lives and to take on new challenges without hesitation. The catchy yet slightly nostalgic melody further enhances the song’s appeal.
- In the new visual, Nishiyama is surrounded by a variety of colorful bags, symbolizing that each bag (no matter how big or small) is filled with his favorite things. The overall look is both trendy and sophisticated.
- My bags come in two styles: limited edition and regular edition. It contains six songs featuring “Koukishin BOY”. The first press limited edition comes with a Blu-ray disc containing the “Koukishin BOY” music video and behind-the-scenes footage. This version also includes a duffel bag designed to hold EP-sized CDs, perfect for taking your album with you. In addition, an A-on STORE limited edition with an approximately 1/10 scale Kotaro Nishiyama acrylic stand will also be released on the same day.
- “Koukishin BOY” is currently available for pre-release on various music platforms, so listeners can enjoy the full version of the song ahead of its CD release.
