In just over a month, Tom Hardy will perform Symbiotic Boogaloo for the last time. Venom: The Last Dance. A new trailer for the trilogy gives a tantalizing look at recent Venom comic book villain Knull, and for fans of the comics, one thing is on their minds: the villain’s creator is financially Did you get the rewards you deserve?

If you didn’t know, it’s well known that comic book creators are not well compensated financially (or indeed not compensated at all) when comic book characters are adapted into movies, TV series, etc. These are all jobs for hire, and things don’t really work out in their favor, as Marvel artist Jen Bartel recently discussed Marvel Snapshot. At most they will appear in a movie or premiere, or be thanked and mentioned in the closing credits, but not always.
