Tangami Kitaro: Brother’s Sansei episode (Real birth version), re-edited version Kitaro Tanjo: Three Brothers (The Birth of Kitaro: The Mystery of Princess) animated film, ranking third in its opening weekend. The film sold a total of 97,700 tickets during its three days of release, earning 156,305,640 yen (approximately US$1.05 million).
The new version of the film will be released in Japan on October 4. The new version is rated R15+. The film’s original screening rating was PG12.
The original version of the film was released in Japan in November 2023 and sold 111,500 tickets in three days of release, priced at 160,106,620 yen (approximately US$1.07 million). As of January 28, the film’s cumulative box office revenue was 2,472,410,610 yen (approximately US$16.79 million).
Tsuyoshi Koga (Kitaro: Japan explodes!, Sabo One Piece Episode 1) directed the film as toei animationand Yoshino Hiroyuki (Macross Frontier, world triggera total of 13 episodes in 2018 Kitaro) wrote the script. Nobuko Yatabe (2018 KitaroDirector of the third ending sequence unit, Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0+1.0: three times Assistant Director) designed the characters.
The film is part of four “big projects” commemorating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China Mizuki ShigeruThe birth of. Mizuki died in 2015 at the age of 93. Another project is Akuma Kun Premiere animation Netflix November 2023.

The story tells the story of three childhood friends who are connected by a mysterious creature. The film shows the lives of three young people in Tokyo. This movie is set in Takadanobaba, which is different from the previous three works of the Super Peace Busters trio (Chichibu is Mari Okadahometown).
The film’s nine actors come from the team’s three previous anime productions, including anohana: the flower we saw that day, hymn of the heartand her blue sky.
The creative team of “Super Peace Busters” is composed of directors Nagai Tatsuyukiscreenwriter, director Mari Okadaand artist Masayo Tanaka.
