You wouldn’t think rock band Simple Plan and Disney would work well together, but you’d be wrong!
Simple Plan unveils cover of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” to commemorate lion kingNow on its 30th anniversary, it has changed the lives of little rockers who also love Disney. The cover is the first single from Disney’s upcoming album: brand new sound, It will feature more covers of iconic Disney songs from alternative, rock and pop-punk acts.
The album launch also features epic character art featuring Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy in hoodies, baseball caps, beanies and other iconic looks.
Disney fans of all ages can watch Simple Plan’s first live performance of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” on D23, August 9th. The full album (including vinyl) will be released later this year. Simple Plan’s “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” is now available to stream on Spotify, Apple Music and other platforms.
