Americans can play soccer anywhere, no matter the weather forecast, thanks to Soccer Bot, a soccer coach from Golden Bear Toy Company.
Golden Bear Toys’ battery-operated ball, part of its Smart Ball line, allows players ages 3 and up to practice soccer indoors and outdoors, alone or with friends and siblings. With Soccer Bot, players can design their own golf course, limiting it to their imagination and a 6-foot radius.
Inside, Soccer Bot works on hardwood floors and carpet. It includes several components: a smart sphere, an accompanying robot, and four discs. The robot includes an LCD screen for recording scores and recording personal achievements. It can also serve as an opponent for solo play and skill practice. The robot can trap the ball and player within the boundaries of the game, set by the four included discs. While the Soccer Bot’s playing area is up to 6 feet long, it can also work in tight spaces, encouraging players to practice their skills and footwork.
