When the Deadpool Corps—a team of multiverse Deadpools—was born, its members included Kidpool, a child version of everyone’s favorite long-mouthed mercenary. Cut to a few years later, and the character makes the jump from comics to the big screen in this summer’s movie Deadpool and Wolverineexcept this time is portrayed as a young girl, because Ryan Reynolds” 7 year old daughter Inez played this role.
Today, Marvel announced that the movie version of “Kidpool” will debut in the writer’s special edition of the “Kidpool & Spider-Boy” comic. Christopher Yost and artist Nathan Stockman.
This announcement shouldn’t come as a complete surprise, as Marvel is no stranger to tying characters more closely to their cinematic depictions.
