writer and director Kevin Smith released the first poster of his latest film, 4:30 movieAcquired by Saban Films.
Smith shared the following note with the poster: “Presenting the first poster for 4:30 Movie – my 16th film coming out this fall from @saban_films! Set in the summer of 1986, we’re in New Jersey This sentimental film was shot at the @smodcastlecinemas cinema in #atlantichighlands where I grew up going and now co-own with my friends.
“This first look poster, created by the talented folks at @wearebond, showcases our fresh-faced quartet of (from left) @nick_v_cirillo, @reednorthrup, @austinzajur and @sienaagudong – the incredible kids who carry this photo .
“I like how the designers placed the billing block on top of the theater marquee. My name above the title was a compromise I made in lieu of using the “A Film By” end credits (which I had always avoided).
“We’ll be debuting the trailer at @comic_con’s Hall H panel on Saturday night – but if you don’t go, you can see it online Monday morning!
“That’s when our world premiere tickets go on sale: a big plus for #smodcastlecinemas so you can see the film in the same theater where we filmed it (and since we’re not a 501(c)) -For Profit Organization, you will be able to write off the cost of your tickets) #KevinSmith #the430movie”
Set in the summer of 1986, the coming-of-age comedy follows three 16-year-old friends (played by Austin Zajul, Nicholas Cirillo and Reed Northrup) They secretly went to the local movie theater on Saturday to watch a movie.
“But one of the guys also invites the girl of his dreams (siana agudon) to watch the latest comedy in which every teen will learn something serious about life and love before the credits roll.
