Fans have long wondered if we would one day see some kind of Marvel and DC crossover in the movies. The potential here is better than ever Kevin Feige Marvel Studios and former Marvel directors James Gunn is now leading DC Studios, but that’s still a long shot.
In a recent interview with Collider , Feige was asked about a potential crossover movie that would bring together characters from the Marvel and DC cinematic universes, and he admitted that it’s something he’s considering.
“I think about it occasionally, like any fan would,” Fitch said. “I don’t know when exactly it’s going to happen or how it’s going to happen. But we’ve been talking for so long that I can’t leave.
“We’d never say never, but no, there’s no plan. I’ve seen paparazzi shots of the Superman set and it looked cool. So he’s focused on that. We’re focused on [Deadpool and Wolverine]”.
It will be interesting to see what this collaboration will look like and what kind of films will come out of this collaboration. While this may happen one day, we know it won’t happen anytime soon.
DC was just getting started under Gunn’s direction, and a full universe needed to be established before anyone could start talking seriously about a crossover between the two universes.
Gunn spoke about this last year, saying, “I think it looks like it’s going to happen in about 10 years. Not today because we have a bunch of other DC movies to talk about. But yeah, I think it could be cool. .
