Famous actor, film producer Kevin Costner Has been awarded the Film Legend Award by the SCAD Savannah Film Festival, hollywood reporter Exclusive reporting available.
Costner will be honored following an afternoon screening on November 1 Horizon: An American Legend—Chapter 1the first installment in a series of epic westerns he directed and stars in, as well as a Q&A about the film moderated by Yours truly, in which he answers questions alongside the cinematographer J. Michael Murrow (CAS), Fashion Designer Lisa Lovasfilm editor Miklos Wright (ACE) and re-recording mixer Joe DeAngelis.
Past winners of the SCAD Savannah Film Festival Film Legend Award include Samuel Jackson, Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman.
Costner joins a host of Hollywood heavyweights who will be heading south for this year’s largest university-sponsored film festival in the country, taking place Oct. 26-Nov. 26. 2.
