Oscar winner Kehui Spring (The Goonies, everything happens at the same time) after winning an Oscar and starring in ” Loki Season 2. love hurtsin which he paired with the Oscar-winner Ariana DeBose (west side story).
The film was directed by veteran stunt coordinator, fight coordinator and second unit director Jojo Eusebioaccording to Luke Passmore, Josh Stoddard and Matthew Murray.
In the film, Quan plays “an unlikely hero, a seemingly gentle real estate agent who harbors a dark secret.” According to the synopsis, Milwaukee real estate agent Marvin Gable “is thrust back into a world of ruthless killers, filled with betrayals and open houses that become a deadly war zone.”
The character’s “volatile crime lord” brother Knuckles (played by Daniel Wu) forces Marvin to reunite with DeBose’s Rose “to confront the choices that haunted him and the history he’d never truly buried,” it concludes.
Quan told People magazine about the character:
“When I first read the script, I was confused. Even though I thought it was a good script, I thought it was written for someone else. In fact, I even said, ‘You should give it to Jason Statham Call, not me.
But talking to Eusebio and the husband-and-wife production team David Leitch and Kelly McCormickall “realized that what they were trying to create was a new kind of action star, not the one we’d been used to over the past few decades,” he explained, adding:
“They wanted someone who was capable and not afraid of being vulnerable. At the same time, he didn’t look like a bad guy unless the situation called for it. I always fantasized about being number one on the list or in the leading man’s shoes.
Quan added love hurts It’s the “perfect movie” to do just that.
“I never thought one day I would be the lead in a major studio movie. So it’s an incredible feeling.
