Katie Sackhoff Has had a distinguished career in genre film and television, with projects including battlestar galactica and The Mandalorian. Well no she wants to join StarCraft Franchise.
Sackhoff recently spoke with Star Wars veterans Jonathan FrakesStarring as William Riker from StarCraft: The Next Generation on her podcast, The Sackhoff Show.
During the conversation, Sackhoff asked Frakes what she had to do to “join Star Trek” because she needed a “hat trick.”
Sackhoff went on to say that the reason she thought she never had a chance to enter the Star Trek universe was that the people in charge of the casting might have thought that casting her was “too out of character” given her science fiction past, Won’t hire her.
Frakes echoed one of her thoughts: “How about the new one? How about Starfleet Academy? Paul Giamatti is in it. It takes place 900 years in the future. They might need a guest instructor, Just like Starbucks. I’ll sell you.
It would be cool if they could figure out a way to bring Sackhoff into the world of Star Wars. A franchise she could easily fit into. Personally, I think it would be awesome if she ended up playing the captain of her own ship!
If Sackhoff joins StarCraftwhat kind of role would you like to see her play?
