Of course, this has left some fans confused as to how RGG will handle the new game announcements it hints at, as the dates appear to rule out the possibility of simply using the summit to set up any big TGS announcements, such as providing more details or showing off a trailer piece. So it remains to be seen what the studio’s plans are, but if RGG insists on a big reveal, scheduling the summit a week early seems like an odd choice, so it wouldn’t come as a surprise that the original next game An announcement will likely be made at the Summit, with more details to be released at TGS.

RGG has just announced that Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be coming to Nintendo Switch in October, and the Prime Video TV series version of “Yakuza: Like a Dragon” will also be launched that month. Earlier this month, Sega also caused some controversy over its trademark registration for “Yakuza Wars.”
Of course, the developer’s fans on social media are hoping that the summit will bring some fresh content, with some eager for a new Inquisition game, a full remaster of Kiwami’s Yakuza 3, or even a spin-off called Yakuza 3. A remake of Yakuza: Dead Souls. Oh, and someone is begging for a Gaiden title starring Goro Majima, because of course they are. To be fair, this sounds pretty cool to me.
