All cameos on screen Deadpool and Wolverineit is not surprising to see this Josh Brolin Returning to his Cable role in the film Deadpool 2.
It would be interesting if Brolin returned to the Marvel Universe after playing one of the most powerful villains of all time alongside Thanos, and then appeared as the badass character Cable.
I’m sure Deadpool would have had fun teasing this dynamic, but unfortunately, Brolin couldn’t make it work.
In a recent interview with Bingeworthy TV (via CB), the actor admitted that he really wanted to be involved in some way, but his schedule was packed with filming Dune: Part 2 and the Outer Range It was too much to handle.
The podcast asked him how he ended up on the IMDb page Deadpool and Wolverine, Brolin said, “I really want to be in that movie.” So he may be in talks with Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy and plans to be involved if schedules allow. He went on to say:
“[Marvel] is a maze more complex than a maze outer scope Always, my friend. I’ll never know where it went, or what it was, or what I was involved in, or what I wasn’t involved in – the MCU is so involved right now… Cable is fun. I really enjoyed playing this character. That’s fun.
I’d bet there’s a good chance we’ll see Cable again, especially considering the inter-dimensional route the Marvel Cinematic Universe is taking in future phases. I’m looking forward to seeing how this all unfolds. The interview continued, and Brolin was surprised when the interviewer pointed out that Thanos was the most-killed villain in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He responded:
“You know, I’ve heard through the grapevine that they’re bringing him back. And the What If? series, which is a different kind of Thanos and stuff. But I don’t know that in the Marvel world Whether or not they’ll bring him back, but I don’t know that he’s the most killed Marvel villain… You learn something new every day.
Indeed. Would you like to see Cable and/or Thanos return to the Marvel Universe?
