Apparently it will “pick up immediately after the events of John Wick: Chapter 4,” and for those of you who’ve seen the movie, you know exactly where Wick is already. Weiss will serve as an executive producer on the series alongside Basil Ivanik and Basil Ivanik. Chad Stahelski, who serves as executive producer through 87Eleven Entertainment, will also direct the pilot. Robert Levine (“The Old Man,” “Black Sails”) is currently attached to write and produce the series and will also serve as executive producer, with Lionsgate Television producing.
Stahelski signed a deal with Lionsgate earlier this year to expand the John Wick franchise. So far, that’s it, with an upcoming spin-off Ballerina starring Ana de Armas also in the works, though it’s reportedly not enough Cool and being pushed back to 2025 is a big deal for John Wick.
