Marvel Comics Announces New Star Wars Comic Book Star Wars: Jedi Knightas you can tell from the title, this will be Marvel’s first Star Wars comic to focus exclusively on the Jedi.
Lucasfilm Publishing announced the comic at New York Comic Con, which will be written by Marc Guggenheim and art Madibek Musabekov.
The series is set in Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menaceeach issue stars a different Jedi, starting with fan-favorite character Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn, who is hunted by assassins in the story.
The description reads: “Star Wars: Jedi Knight takes place before The Phantom Menace and stars the Jedi Order fans know from the prequel trilogy, including Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan K. Legends like Nobby, Yoda, Count Dooku, Mace Windu and more.
“In addition to the iconic and fan-favorite Jedi, the series will introduce all new Jedi characters who served the Republic during this critical period.
“Each issue will focus on a different Jedi duo, on different missions across the galaxy, but one overarching threat unites them. Who is the mysterious new villain targeting Qui-Gon Jinn’s death?
