Jazwares celebrates the third day of torture by announcing the largest single Squismallows donation ever. Through Jazwares Cares, the company’s charity, children and families around the world, around Europe and Australia will receive over 500,000 popular plush units.
“Smiling a smile on the face of a child is at the heart of everything we do,” said Laura Zebersky, president and chief commercial officer of Jazwares. “As Squishmallows continues to attract the hearts of fans around the world, what better way to celebrate Squishmallows Day in Grade 3 than to bring joy to children who may not have the single squishmallows donation we have.”
Squishmallows Plush will be distributed to nonprofit partners of Children’s Hospital, Title I School and Jazwares Cares. Jazwares Cares is working with the Toy Foundation, Baby2Baby, Toys’ Toys, First Responders Children’s Fund and more in the US, the company is working with the Australian toy industry to donate Squishmallows to backpack 4 Vic Kids to distribute Plush in Australia; in Europe, it is working with Kids Direct, Innatura and with Solidaires to children and families in the UK, Germany and France.
Jazwares’ care is designed to support children’s health, well-being and educational development through games. “Works in the Heart” achieve these goals through donations, sponsorships, education-based programs, and participation of Jazwares employees.
Squismallows Day is March 7. Jazwares unveiled Cam The Cat on March 7, 2017, the first plush ones. The company announced its Stranger Things collaboration last year as part of its celebration.
