    Jamie Lee Curtis Says ‘Never Say Never’, Possible Return to Halloween Series – GeekTyrant

    Halloween is over It was supposed to be the farewell to Laurie Strode and Michael Myers’ story, but the franchise star Jamie Lee Curtis Let fans know that she will have the opportunity to return to the team again one day,

    In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actress said: “I’ve hung up my bell bottoms and my light blue tie shirts, I’ve given up on them [Laurie] A warm ‘Aloha’ to all the years and thanks for all the years and memories.

    She went on to add: “However, if I’ve learned anything in my 65 years on this planet, it’s to never say never.”

    When it comes to these big franchises, anything is possible. When it came to ending Strode’s story, Halloween is overCurtis said:

    “I realized that was going to be the last time I saw Laurie Strode. It was very powerful for me. I cried. David [Gordon Green, director] cried. We both recognized that moment, where it ended for Laurie Strode and me. And the community of artists who make these films. This is a big deal.

    As of now, there are no plans to bring Curtis back as Laurie Strode, but there is a new halloween Project is under development.

    Mirimax is developing a Halloween series, which is said to be a “complete reset” of the series. It also promises to launch a cinematic universe spanning film and television.

    Explains: “It’s based on the original movie, John Carpenter’s movie, the characters from that movie, and maybe a set of characters that we haven’t really focused on in recent versions of the movie or even in many versions of it.

    “This is a complete creative reset, going back to the original film rather than taking away from any recent film adaptations.”

    Halloween is one of those horror series that never dies. It will continue to be played with and reinvented and one day, who knows, maybe Curtis will return as Laurie Strode one day.
