Hello dear readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade roundup for July 31, 2024. Not super busy, mind you. Don’t get too excited and jump up and down on the table or other things. But before we get to the usual list of new sales and discounts, we do have a small selection of new products to check out. If this seems a little smaller than it actually is, well… I’m going to the movies today as part of my birthday extravaganza. sorry! But only a little! Let’s stock up!

    Select new version

JALECOlle Famicom version of Marble Quest ($7.99)

Jaleco IP holder City Connection is launching Jaleco’s full line of 8-bit games designed to look like Herbric Enjoyment Edition. the first is marble task, and provides Japanese and overseas versions. The Japanese version is a bit awkwardly translated so you can fully enjoy this Jaleco jank classic. I’ll probably comment on this because that’s the kind of weirdness I’m good at.

Tokyo Chronos and Altdeus: Beyond Chronos Double Pack ($49.99)

The two adventure games were originally sold as VR suspense visual novels on PC, but are now coming to Switch without the virtual reality part. You know, that does get some of the air out of the tires. The story premise of the first game in this pack reminds me a lot of The world ends because of youso if this is what gets your engine running, you might want to take a closer look.

    Death Noodles Takeaway ($4.99)

The game bills itself as an “action-satirical-casual” game, whatever that means. Newsboy, but I haven’t had a chance to play with it yet, so I’m not sure how it works. You deliver noodles on a hoverboard in a dangerous cyberpunk city, and you need to be wary of the various threats that come with this simple job. Luckily, you can upgrade your gear at any time. Again, I don’t know much about this. Reviews on PC are somewhere in the middle range, and really could go either way. Wade in water at your own risk.

    Trigue’s Summer ($14.99)

You see, the fictional location the game is set in is called Trigue, but if you read it out loud, it sounds like “Summer Conspiracy.” mine head. It’s a Yuri-themed visual novel about a struggling writer who ends up on a tropical island with at least four potential ladies to kiss. Four! Under such economic conditions! Make choices that help guide her to love as you read Gamuzumi’s latest story.

    sales volume

    (North American e-store, US prices)

Obviously things aren’t quite as crazy today with yesterday’s surge in new sales, but there are still some great deals worth considering. do you have Cowabanga Collection However? Sixteen bucks, you should. this final fantasy pixel remake Seldom are they on sale, so you might want to buy them now, too. Grandia HD collection is another rare discount, and while it has its own issues, I think it’s a great package at the current price. Make sure you check your outbox as well.
