At the Marvel Animation Conference held at D23 over the weekend, Marvel showed off a clip from the upcoming Marvel Animation Eye of Wakanda Spin-off series, looks like fun.
The series will consist of four episodes, according to producers Ryan Cooglerthe play will focus on an aspect of the country of Wakanda – war dogs. Just like Dora Mirja was tasked with protecting the king, War Dog is tasked with protecting Wakanda.
The clip introduces a new character named Noni, who is described as a “saboteur.” The story will also delve into the history of Wakanda and will also bring Iron Fist back to the Marvel Universe.
During the event, the creative team behind the series also teased other heroes from the “Secret City” who also have titles and have “glowing fists.”
No word yet on whether this will happen Looking for Jonesversion of Danny Rand, or an entirely new version of Iron Fist from the comics. We’ll just have to wait and see, but the character will be back!
The series is said to follow characters from Wakanda tracking down vibranium artifacts. What the producers said about the series brad windbaugh Said: “We are exploring many amazing avenues in animation.
“Eye of WakandaMore than any other show, it aligns with the continuity of our sacred Marvel Universe timeline. [Black Panther director Ryan Coogler] is the film’s producer, Todd Harris, one of our long-time storyboard artists.
“It’s about Waganda history and mythology, which is really cool. It looks great. It feels like, ‘Okay, I’m learning about the MCU in an animated way.
Jones previously said of the possibility of returning: “I’d love to continue playing this character. I think there’s a lot of room to grow. Personally, I’d like to see the reintroduction of this character be something like League of Legends. Rent TV series.
“I thought this would be the most dynamic and fun way to reintroduce these characters. I loved working with Mike and the on-screen chemistry between Danny and Luke.
“I think it’s a really fun creative place to watch the show. I’d love to pick up that mantle again and continue to push this character forward and make the best Iron Fist possible.”
Eye of Wakanda was created by Todd HarrisAs of now, the show has no confirmed premiere date, but it has previously been teased that it will be released in 2024.
