We’re actually testing a vertical grid for your profile instead of a square one, for those of you who haven’t seen it yet. Now, blocks have been around since the early days, when you could only upload pictures of blocks to Instagram. I know this may be annoying to some of you because you spend a lot of time planning and making sure everything is organized, but I really want to do a better job with today’s content. The vast majority of content uploaded to Instagram today is vertical. The dimensions are 4 x 3 in the photo and 9 x 16 in the video, which is pretty brutal to crop into a square. So I hope we can find a way to manage this transition.
