Matsunaga: I remember seeing the shot of Acro-Silky walking down the stairs from her perspective and burying my face in my hands wondering how we were going to make this work (wry smile).

With the final image in mind, Enomoto used Blender to prepare a 3D layout for the storyboard of the scene in which Acro-Silky runs out of the apartment in pursuit of his kidnapped daughter. He also put some thought into the movement of Acro-Silky hair.

Enomoto: I wanted to depict a battle that gave the impression that Acro-Silky himself was imprisoned by his own hair. With that in mind, I’m also trying to figure out how to make the fight between her, Momo, and O’Callen meaningful. I spent the entire seventh episode storyboarding and thinking about which animators I should give the task to.

Perhaps the most emotional scene for viewers in episode seven is the final scene with Ella, as she tells Acro-Silky, “I won’t forget it. I swear. Even after the credits roll, the intensity of the emotion you feel will still be there.” persist.
