Given that the release becomes difficult to track again, the top comics to be purchased this week on April 30 is another tricky list. I love a pair of highly anticipated releases – Planet Death #0 From bad ideas and restart Heavy Metals Magazine – But they don’t appear in the stores I use to determine availability for each week. However, I know they will be available in some stores. So, it’s a tough choice.
But I decided to stick with my system, so in the ongoing release chaos (which actually seems to be just on the new specification), I narrowed my list this week. Below you can find my five top tips, along with the usual release list… Enjoy!
Top comics purchased on April 30
Crushing Depth #2
writer: DB Andry & Tim Daniel
artist: Alex Sanchez
Colorist: Kurt Michael Russell
letter: Justin Birch
Publisher: Crazy cave studio
The Manta Wolf drone submersible has recovered from an investigation into the devil’s teeth, a towering thermal ventilation hole that accompanys the lives of aliens. In its cargo, a cache of samples, a sinister storage lurks: a powerful transformative organism. Chief Science Officer Liana Pearson and her crew member Kate Barron compete to study Mantawolf’s alien bounty, while the crew became increasingly uneasy when the pardoned nuclear power core began to behave unstable –
Why it’s cool: This book is claustrophobic deep-sea horror pulp storytelling. It continues to scare readers, learning more about what is happening under the ocean, what it means to people trapped inside the unfortunately submerged ships.

GI Joe: The Real American Hero – Silent Mission – Duke University #1
Writer/Artist: Wes Craig
Colorist: Jason Wordie
Publisher: Image comics/sky
The face of the comic book is changed forever when Gi Joe: The Real American Hero #21 introduces fans to “Silent Interlude” and it’s a dynamic story without dialogue. Now, in Wes Craig’s independent silent question, Duke travels through the Cobra-infected terrain and finds the traitor who joins the enemy. Can Duke do something unimaginable to accomplish his mission?
Why it’s cool: I have always loved this silent mono and pay tribute to the classics GI Joe: The Real American Hero #21. They are all great, but I think this week’s Duke story is my favorite. Not only does it do well in action, it tells an emotional story once and for all in the spaces of these pages. If you are reading so (You should be) You already know how great a team is Wes Craig and Jason Wordie Yes, now you can see what they think GI Joe.

Question: Keep following the Watchtower #6
writer: Alex Secure
artist: Cian Tormey
Colorist: Romulo Fajardo Jr.
letter: Willie Schubert
Publisher: DC Comics
As the watchtower around her collapses, this problem – an unexpected ally – must assemble her team to undertake the mastermind behind the fall of Justice League Infinity Base! Can Renee not only survive, but also maintain her new position in the DC universe? Find a question in the epic conclusion: along the watchtower!
Why it’s cool: Since the Big DC Comics All-In restart, the publisher has done a great job with its shared to-do list for the superhero universe in the new Justice League Infinity team, and the various threats it has been dealing with. This is also done well, constructing the concept in multiple directions, making the entire continuity full of vitality and lively. One of the books that do well is Question: Keep following the watchtower, This is a good conclusion this week. The book itself is an interesting reading, while also establishing Renee Montoya’s role on the new Justice League satellite. Great stuff, this is the best comic to buy this week on April 30.

Season 4
writer: Rick Rebirth
artist: Paul Azaceta
Colorist: Matheus Lopes
letter: Rus Wooton
Publisher: Image Comics/Giant Generator
Spring discovers clues about her sister’s fall whereabouts and hatches a plan to find her, but she may have been too late to help the Summers sisters be invited to live in the center stage within the Carnival Giants to get a special gift from Ringleader.
Why it’s cool: In fact, no other comics are being produced now. It happens in a unique world that is hard to describe, and in a space of only four problems it shows that it can also be whimsical like suffering from severe fear. artwork Paul Azaceta and Matheus Lopes In this week’s hypnosis fourth issue, especially astonishing, I can only describe it as a very sinister hypercolor explosion. I like that I absolutely don’t know where this comic goes from one month to one month.

Ultimate Spider-Man #16
writer: Jonathan Hickman
artist: Marco Checche
Colorist: Matthew Wilson
letter: Corey Little
Publisher: Marvel Comics
Even Kingpin knows nothing about the criminals in the smoky helmet…but Spider-Man is about to learn more than he bargains!
Why it’s cool: Writer every once in a while Jonathan Hickman I’m really in his comics pack (as they say) and I feel so lucky to read the monthly comics while he and his collaborators make them. With friends? This is one of the problems. Hickman seeds some really great long-term surprises Marco Checche and Matthew Wilsona job that reveals his job here. The end result is a complex Spider-Man story that makes good use of long-standing familiar characters while also driving the larger, ongoing plot of this new ultimate universe center. This is just a superb high concept superhero comic.
