Nightcaps will focus on creating a space for unique writers/artists who want to peer into the darkness through oversized one-shots, aiming to show how far horror can be bent in the hands of new artistic visionaries. Add to that IDW’s recent success with the return of EC Comics, and its history with horror classics such as 30 days of nights and Locke and Key (Plus their recent dark space comics), and it’s easy to think that the publisher would be content with building a legitimate comic horror empire.
