When I started using a laptop in tablet form for note-taking and doodling, the stylus lasted about a week on a charge and opened up more avenues for versatility. The pen glides smoothly across the display, reacting to every stroke, no matter how light or heavy it is. This comes in really handy when I start doodling and want to apply the airbrush tool in MS Paint.
The Elite x360’s 5-megapixel webcam is very good – almost too good. It captures my skin tone well and indicates that it’s time for me to touch up my colorful dye job. The integrated shooter also does a great job with the detail, capturing the glimmer of wire in my plush bull stuffed toy.
Laptop speakers are often hit or miss. The x360’s four-speaker setup, along with its various amplifiers and Poly Studio software, are very popular. At maximum volume, the speakers filled my medium-sized living room. The soundstage is surprisingly spacious, making it easy to position each instrument, especially the horns in Maxwell’s “Bad Habits (Uncut),” my favorite part of the song after the singer’s sultry tenor.
