How to unlock the “What the Trip” trophy
Trip’s mission is to defeat seven enemies using the Tripcaster. The tricky part is that you don’t have free control over this weapon and must use the wires pre-set in the level. Once you encounter these traps, you must trick nearby enemies into walking through them and quickly eliminate those pesky robots. Luckily, the Tripcaster line appears fairly early in the level, so you should be able to get the trophy pretty quickly.
Make your way through the level until you come across a floating balloon with a green can attached to it. Shoot the balloon to open a red target on the other side of the mountain. Shooting an arrow at this will cause a wire to shoot out, connecting the two sides. Slide down it while using your bow to take down the two electric enemies waiting for you at the end.
You’ll then encounter the first Tripcasters in the level, but there aren’t any enemies to kill here. So jump onto the launch pad ahead to reach a platform where there are three traps arranged in a circle, along with seven enemies. How convenient!
The goal here is to jump over the lines, draw the enemy’s attention, and then jump back and forth to lure them into a trap. One thing to note is that hovering over the wires will cause them to break, so make sure not to take out your hover laser when you’re jumping around. Enemies also sometimes avoid falling into traps and end up jumping over them. If they do, keep moving around the circle until they meet another circle.
There are Tripcasters in another place at the back of the level, but there are not seven enemies here. You can use this if you accidentally kill an enemy in the first area, but it’s usually easier to restart the level and try again.
