Storybook Valley is the second major expansion pack for the popular comfort game Disney Dream Valleybringing all new biomes, characters, and stories. Of course, like the main game, there are plenty of new creatures to meet and become friends with. Among them is the Owl, the first creature you encounter in the DLC adventure.
Like all critters, each of the four owls lays eggs on different days and at different times, but they all like the same food! Read on to learn when each owl lays its eggs and how many times they need to be fed to win, then we’ll reveal their favorite foods so you can fill them up just the right way!
All owl locations and egg laying times
There are four types of owls that can be found throughout Storybook Valley expansion. Here’s when and where you can find them.
brown owl
Brown Owls can be found in the Knowledge Library any time of the day, Monday through Friday. You need to feed it twice to win its companionship.
purple owl
Purple Owls appear at The Bind every day between 12pm and 9am. You need to feed it twice to win its companionship.
dark owl
Dark Owls can be found in the Knowledge Library throughout the day, Saturday through Sunday. You must feed it 4 times to win its companionship.
light owl
Pale Owls appear at The Bind every day between 3pm and 8pm. You must feed it 4 times to win its companionship.
How to Feed an Owl
Owls are the easiest to feed in the new expansion. Just approach them and they’ll be ready to interact (just like the Sunbirds in the base game). It doesn’t get any simpler than this!
Owl’s favorite food
So, you know how to find them and how to provide them with food, but what are owls’ favorite food?
The answer is simple: barley!
You can buy barley seeds from Goofy’s stall in The Bind, a simple and straightforward food to stock up on as you work to win the hearts of all the owls. Remember, you can feed them other grains as well. You know, if you’re a monster who doesn’t want them to be truly happy.
