Himesh Patel admits the chance to work with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Lily James was a “huge boost” to his decision to star in Percy Ponceiroli’s latest comedy thriller.

Patel’s Will starts out as a police officer in a sleepy island town, but is soon forced to deal with an unexpected murder and the discovery of a million dollars as everyone involved makes a series of mistakes decision.
Gordon-Levitt plays Will’s obnoxious sidekick Terry, who, to avoid spoilers, does nothing to relieve the stress of his co-workers on his first day on the job. The comedic chemistry and improvisation between the two is brilliant as their friendship quickly spirals into chaos. The rapport was clearly established off camera.
“I think there are a lot of people, when they reach the level of movie stars, they can be very generous, but it’s all part of a larger self-performance,” Patel told hollywood reporter. “Whereas [Gordon-Levitt]he indeed is. He is very collaborative. He knows everything that’s going on. He understands the whole scheme of things and is committed to his role. He has such a special role in this – I’ve never seen him do anything like this before, so it’s really exciting to work with someone you admire but then to see him do something completely different things.
The pair adopted a Southern drawl on the fictional island of Providence (the film’s original title). But Patel, who is British, got a little help from his native American co-star: “There were some accented moments, too, [Gordon-Levitt] Like, ‘I don’t think we’re going to say that. We would say so,” Patel continued. “I really appreciate having people looking out for you and want you to do the best you can.”
It was also a chance to reunite with James after filming the musical comedy with Boyle yesterday (2019), which poses the question: What if the Beatles never existed? “I think we get along really well,” Patel said of his relationship with James. “It’s a funny thing when you get along with someone and you trust them. There’s something going on, and none of us recognize this dynamic, but it has worked before and I think it has worked Twice. I joked to her that we obviously had to do it a third time. For example, Patel said he’s still unsure about the film’s release date in the UK. “I’m really happy that it’s being released in the United States… I think [a lot of these films] It’s in production, but has just gone straight to streaming. What Patel values most in his job is change, but he says charting a course for his career over the next few years isn’t as easy as it seems. “I think it’s especially hard to do that as an actor of color,” he told us heart rate, “It’s kind of like, ‘Okay, this is what I want to do, and these are the steps I’m going to take to get there.'” I don’t think it’s that simple.
There’s plenty more to come from the star with an impressive resume, his future looks bright and he’s open to it all. “I just want to make sure that whatever I do next is very different from anything I’ve done before, whether it’s working with a very established writer and director or working with someone very new, as long as I can It’s easy for me to do that.
