Candy and novelty product maker Hilco Sweets has hired Emily Edmondson as executive vice president. In this executive team role, her first priority is managing the company’s clients and its country and regional sales teams. She has over 15 years of sales experience and began her candy career at Galerie Candy. Over time, she has worked with agents and clients across a variety of industries and was named a 2022 Woman of Influence by the National Confectioners Association. Prior to this new role, Edmondson served as Crayola’s value team leader.
Commenting on this new opportunity, Edmondson said: “I’m excited to join Hilco Sweets and bring my experience to its unique range of novelty sweets, and I look forward to working with some of its most well-known and exciting brands.”
