Giant robots from Amazon MGM Studios Voltron The movie “Man of Steel” is about to be released.
Henry Cavill, actor and star of Superman wizardhas become the star of a live-action movie based on the mecha anime directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber.
The actor leads the roll call alongside newcomer Daniel Quinn-Toye, best known for his work in the West End opposite Tom Holland The studio and director were impressed.
Voltron Adapted from a Japanese science fiction series Beast King GoLion and Kikou Kantai Dairugger XV. World Events edited and syndicated the series and titled it Voltron: Guardian of the Universerunning in the mid-1980s. The story revolves around five young pilots from a battalion called the Robot Lions, vehicles that combine to form a giant robot called Voltron.
Plot details for the new version are unclear. Thurber co-wrote the screenplay with Alan Shanman.
Producers include Todd Lieberman of Hidden Pictures, Bob Koplar of World Events Productions, Thurber and David Hoberman of Hobie Films.
Cavill starred in two action thrillers this year, Matthew Vaughn’s Argyll Available for Apple original movies and Guy Ritchie movies Ungentlemanly War Department for Lionsgate. He also made a cameo in this summer’s show that had the audience cheering Deadpool and Wolverine.
The muscular actor reunites with Ritchie for action thriller in graywhich also stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Eiza Gonzalez, and will star in Chad Stahelski’s long-prepared reboot of ” Highlanderwhich will be filmed next year. He is also responsible for the production of a Warhammer 40,000 Franchise owned by Amazon MGM Studios.
