“I’m writing ‘Wolverine,’ and I’m writing ‘Ghost Rider.’ Of course I’m going to bring them together. The ‘Weapons of Vengeance’ storyline was such a hit, in part because of that. Jeff Shaw I also introduced the Hellbeast, a version of Logan with a flaming skull and flaming claws. Fan enthusiasm was so high that Marvel Legends toys were announced and a spin-off limited series approved,” Percy said of his vision for Inferno. “I had a lot of fun expanding the mythology of the demon Bagragur, and found a way to not only bring Akihiro back from his tragic death in the Sabretooth War, but to explore some of the complex characters I’ve always loved. Following the debut of HELLVERINE last year Ghost Rider/Wolverine: Weapon of Vengeance In the crossover, Hellfire was passed down from father to son, with Logan’s son Hiro (born Daken) taking over the mantle of the 4-issue Hellfire limited series. The saga ends today, and now Percy will embark on this hellish journey into even darker depths as Akihiro embraces his transformation and dives first into Marvel’s superhero landscape, and its demons Underworld.
