The protagonist Heihachi Mishima, who seemingly died in the ending of Tekken 7, is back! He will return to Tekken 8 as part of the game’s current DLC season pass, which will be released this fall.
Director Katsuhiro Harada and producer Michael Murray announced the news alongside a selection of in-game animations and new story details, suggesting more story content will be coming to the game with his release.

Harada and Murray also said that Tekken 8’s next new character, Lidia, will be released on July 22 (in the United States) and July 23 (worldwide). Along with Lydia, all players have access to photo mode and the seaside stage.
