The build I’m mainly focusing on, Centipede poisons and weakens your enemies, and summons the mighty power of the Centipede spirit to execute your poisoned enemies. Unlike jaguars, centipedes are characterized by damage done over time. It kills slower than the Jaguar, but it’s consistent and synergistic with healing, weakening enemies, and is probably the second strongest endgame build out there.
Spiritual Life – Centipede Skills
Blighted Fist It is the basic ability of Centipede, but it can be selected when choosing enhancers. Hastening Blight Fist If you are having trouble surviving (it will reduce damage from poisoned enemies) or sharp withered fist If you want to maximize damage against groups of enemies.
prick It’s something you use to drain your energy. choose rampant sting If you want to increase your single target damage (a good idea if you’re fighting bosses and elites) and Advantage stinger If you want to add some fragile debuffs and healing effects to your game.
toxic skin Leaves a trail of poison behind you and increases your Thorns damage. If you selected Advantage Stinger, select Toxic skin detected Deals a critical hit every second to enemies made vulnerable by the stinger enhancement.
natural disaster This is a great way to help yourself survive by CCing your enemies. Being scared and slow, you can take them out as they run away. choose Strengthen natural disasters More energy is restored when using it, but you have the option adaptive natural disaster If you are having trouble surviving as it gives you a chance to be healed for some of the damage it dealt.
death touch is an attack that unleashes a swarm of insects that causes damage over time. If you kill the affected enemy, the swarm will look for new hosts to do damage. death touch Adds a damage pulse to the attack, dealing poison damage to nearby enemies every second. death touchHowever, the cooldown on this ability has been removed, instead costing 70 vitality points per cast. I recommend this option, but you need to generate more vitality (enhanced Scourge is a good way to do this).
Devourer It is the key to the construction of the entire centipede. Summons a giant centipede spirit that instantly executes all enemies with poisoned health. It also spreads poison on the ground and fires a poison beam, so it’s great to call when elites or bosses appear. Each level you add to this ability reduces the cooldown, bringing you down to nearly 30 seconds at level 5.
Spiritual Life – Centipede Soul Palace Passive
Choosing Centipede will also provide you with the best service for your Spirit Hall. If you choose Centipede’s first passive, it will turn every skill into a Centipede skill, and reduce and slow down every enemy hit by a Centipede skill (now every skill), stacking up to eight times.
If you’re having trouble surviving and primarily using the Centipede skill, you may also choose to pick up Gorilla’s first passive.
The second option in Wuhundian will increase passive healing. Each nearby enemy you poisoned in the past three seconds is healed for one percent of your maximum health (up to a maximum of five percent).
No matter which way you cut it, spiritual life is powerful. They have some of the most satisfying and useful gameplay loops in gaming, and a ton of viable ways to play. Whichever version you decide to use, I’m sure you’ll have a great time.
As someone who loves the Witch Doctor course Diablo IIIhas a similar “spirit-based” class that focuses on close combat rather than spellcasting, which is pretty interesting.
Walk with the spirit, my friend, and put an end to Mephisto’s ambitions. Happy hunting!
