Halloween Horror Nights Universal Studios Hollywood is coming up in about a month and they have announced two new members who will be attending the event!
The Weeknd returns to Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights in nightmarish fashion with new haunted house experiences “The Weeknd: The Nightmare Trilogy” and another with “Scary Tram: Enter Broomhouse” , invites guests to step into a series of hit horror films produced by Blumhouse Productions.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Legacy of Leatherface celebrates the 50th anniversary of the iconic and insane monster, capping off this year of horror films.
The Weeknd is one of the most important artists of the 21st century, an enigmatic superstar who continues to break records year after year. In 2022, he teamed up with Halloween Horror Nights to create the popular haunted house “The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare,” inspired by his highly successful “After Hours” album.
This year, he returns with “The Weeknd: Nightmare Trilogy,” giving fans an authentic, one-of-a-kind horror experience that’s full of surprises at every turn, with The Weeknd’s music by groundbreaking producers , the artist and seven musicians scored the song.
Universal Studios Hollywood’s exclusive Terror Trolley is back. In Horror Train: Enter Blumhouse, horror fans will set out on the Universal Studios backlot to meet some of the scariest characters from Blumhouse’s hit series, including M3GAN, Black Phone, Stranger, and The Purge Happy death anniversary.
In addition, guests who purchase or choose to upgrade their RIP Tour event tickets will enjoy themed photo opportunities and exclusive access to the Jupiter Claims set from the hit film No.
Continuing the momentum, Leatherface also returns in spooky fashion for Halloween Horror Nights with The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Leatherface Legacy.
The Haunted Mansion will feature an all-new storyline celebrating the 50th anniversary of the original 1974 horror film. Set in an abandoned slaughterhouse, visitors will encounter multiple iterations of Leatherface from all nine films in the series, dodging his ruthless chainsaw at every turn.
Additionally, “Purge: Dangerous Waters” returns to the WaterWorld venue, taking guests on a fiery rock-filled adventure while fighting to survive the night.
Finally, horror fans will encounter multiple spooky areas throughout the park. When exiting the “Monstruos 2: Latin American Nightmare” haunted house, visitors will encounter a brand new scary area “Luchadores Monstruosos”.
As they begin their night of horror at Halloween Horror Nights, fans first need to escape a gang of chainsaw killers in “Chainsaw Punk” and then dodge a gothic death royal court in “Skeleton Lords.” The menacing “Crow Murders” will swarm into a new dedicated space, including the debut of the mother crow in the nest.
These exciting experiences join previously announced haunted houses including Paramount Pictures’ critically acclaimed series A Quiet Place, Sony Pictures’ horror-comedy Ghostbusters: Ice Empire, Universal Pictures Adapted from the classic monsters in Universal Monsters: Eternal Blood, Insidious: Further Adapted from the latest film in Blumhouse’s horror film series, Monsters 2: Nightmare in Latin America is the sequel to the 2023 hit haunted house, Death Exposure: Death Valley is an original concept house with petrified radioactive zombies.
Even more frightening, guests can also experience select theme park attractions open during the event, including Jurassic World – The Roller Coaster, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ™”, as well as “Flight of the Hippogriff™,” “Transformers™: 3D Coaster,” “Revenge of the Mummy Coaster” and “The Simpsons Coaster™.” Audiences who purchase selected tickets can enter the interactive park “Super Nintendo World” from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm on the same day (subject to change).
Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood begins Thursday, September 5, and runs through Sunday, November 3.
