Gunzilla Games, the studio behind upcoming battle royale game Off the Grid, has announced the expansion of its Vanguard program to include PlayStation 5 players.
The program, initially available to PC users through the Epic Games Store, allows selected participants to access and test pre-release versions of games.
Gunzilla Games plans to expand to Xbox Series X|S later this year and conduct cross-platform play testing in the near future, opening the door for more players to actively participate in the development process.

The Pioneer Project is an ongoing testing program launched by Gunzilla Games to allow early participants (called “Original Zero Point”) to directly participate in the development of “Off the Grid”. Original Zeroes will conduct weekly playtests and provide feedback via a private Discord channel.
Participants in the program receive early access to an incomplete version of the game, where they can experience various game modes, features, and in-development content. This early access allows Gunzilla Games to collect feedback on gameplay elements such as cyber limbs, weapons, and game modes, which is crucial to perfecting the game before official release.
Those who participate in the Vanguard Project will retain their game progress and items when the game officially launches. Additionally, the program will continue to run after the game launches, providing early access to new content and features.

The original Zeros in the Vanguard Project benefited by beginning their progress in the “off the grid” universe before the public.
When the game is officially launched, players can keep all their hard-earned in-game items and receive exclusive rewards specially created for members, such as the “OTG Player Zero Set”.
In addition, early access players will have the opportunity to directly influence the development of the game by providing feedback to Gunzilla Games, thereby influencing final content and future updates.

Interested players can apply to join the Pioneer Project by visiting the Off the Grid official website or joining the OTG Discord server.
The program is selective, with participants choosing based on factors such as hardware capabilities, geographic location and gaming preferences. Applicants are required to complete a survey and, if selected, will receive an invitation via email.
Once selected, participants must sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to maintain the show’s confidentiality and prohibit sharing of gameplay footage or details outside designated channels.
