Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles USA (“BNTCA”) is on its way Gundam Base Mobile Tour Starting from August 7 Orland Park, Illinois. However, from August 23 to 24, the mobile base was deployed near the TKTS building on 47th Street in Times Square in downtown New York City. It also coincides with Anime NYC, which takes place August 23-25, so for new and old Gundam fans in New York City or those arriving in Manhattan from out of state, here’s what’s on the mobile tour.
Fans will have the opportunity to purchase exclusive Gundam merchandise from Mobile Base, including Gundam model kits, statues, and other famous Gundam-related merchandise. During the event, fans can also try Gundam-related video games such as “Gundam Breaker 4”. Finally, you will also have the opportunity to receive a free RX-78-2 Gundam workshop kit and the opportunity to assemble model kits. Finally, you’ll have the chance to take a photo with the iconic RX-78-2 Gundam statue.
The event is free to attend and takes place August 23rd and 24th, so if you’re a New York City resident or planning to attend Anime NYC, I recommend taking the time to visit the Gundam Base Mobile Tour.
