Metaphor: ReFantazio is a rare company with a 10 out of 10 rating on GameSpot. Here’s a good reason to want to check out this role-playing game from the studio behind Persona and Shin Megami Tensei. If you’d like to pre-order Metaphor: ReFantazio on PC, you can take advantage of deals on every version of the game on Fanatical, along with tons of pre-order bonuses. Fanatical’s discount is about 13% lower than Metaphor’s list price. This brings the price of the base game down to $61 from the usual $70. Alternatively, you can purchase the Metaphor: ReFantazio Atlus 35th Anniversary Digital Anniversary Edition, originally priced at $100, now on sale for $87. Metaphor: ReFantazio launches today, October 10th, and this pre-order offer is disappearing quickly.
Pre-order the base game and get two in-game item packs. The first is the Archetype EXP Chest Set, which includes 10 Hero Incense and 5 Hero Fruits – both of which increase Archetype experience. The second is the Adventurer’s Journey Pack, which nets you 30,000 Reeve, Metaphor’s in-game currency, and a bunch of items to make your adventures easier. These include medicines that restore HP and MP, as well as items that cause damage to enemies.
If you choose the Altus 35th Anniversary Digital Anniversary Edition, you’ll get two sets of in-game items, as well as a full set of add-on content. The Anniversary Edition includes the digital artbook and digital soundtrack for Metaphor, as well as the Atlus 35th Anniversary Digital History Book and the Best of 35th Anniversary Soundtrack. You also get a complete set of character makeup costumes.
There are many other options for purchasing Metaphor, including purchasing different versions on the console. You can also pre-order the Metaphor: ReFantazio Collector’s Edition on Amazon for $150, which includes a steel case, art book, soundtrack, stickers, metal pins and cloth map, as well as the aforementioned digital in-game items. You’ll want to take advantage of the opportunity to pre-order the Collector’s Edition soon, though, as it won’t be in stock at various retailers for long. Check out the Collector’s Edition restock list for more details.
