After “Godzilla Minus One” hit theaters late last year, it quickly won rave reviews from fans and critics. The monster movie, about a group of veterans trying to prevent their war-torn home from being further destroyed by Godzilla, won an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects for its stunning action scenes. The film is already available to buy or rent in color or black-and-white on Prime Video and stream on Netflix, but fans can now pre-order the upcoming physical version. Collectors will definitely want to check out the gorgeous Godzilla Minus One 4K Limited Edition, which is available for pre-order at Walmart and Amazon.
$35

The Godzilla Minus One Limited Edition includes 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray versions of the hit film, as well as a Blu-ray disc with special features. Of course, it also comes in an eye-catching steel book case, allowing you to protect and display your film collection. A physical release date for Godzilla Minus One has not yet been announced.
The 4K steelbook version is currently selling for $55 on Amazon and $35 on Walmart. The huge difference in price does sound strange, but Amazon often lists Blu-rays at a higher price when pre-orders first go live. The price on Amazon will almost certainly drop to $35 in the next few days – the likelihood of it launching at $55 is almost zero. You can order from Amazon now and you won’t be charged until your pre-orders ship. Amazon will automatically adjust the price to the lowest quote between your order and listing.
The steelbook version looks great, but there are other versions. The 4K Blu-ray without the steel case is available for pre-order on Amazon, and the standard 1080p Blu-ray is also available for pre-order.

As mentioned, you can already purchase the digital version of Godzilla Minus One on Prime Video ($15 to purchase, $6 to rent). While the standard color version is great, the black and white special edition is definitely worth a look. Unfortunately, there’s no mention of a black and white version in the Blu-ray’s listing, so even if you pre-ordered the physical version, you might still want to check out the black and white version.
