Last year’s Oscar-winning blockbuster was Godzilla minus one Taking the world by storm, it has captured everyone’s imagination and captivated many with its stunning take on the world’s most famous monster. Since it was first released in the UK, you’ve been asking us if – and when – Godzilla minus one Will be on home videos, if that’s the case what plans might we have.
We revealed back in August that we would indeed be producing movies in 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD, but today Today is the day we reveal all, so read on to find out how you can watch this blockbuster movie in your own home.

Our Godzilla Minus One Release Plan
Given the passion and excitement surrounding Takashi Yamazaki’s films, we want to make sure that no matter your preference, there’s a version Godzilla minus one For your part, let’s get into the meat and potatoes of these releases and what they’re all about.
In addition to the standard Blu-ray and DVD editions of the film, we will also be releasing 4K UHD+ Blu-ray Steelcase and Deluxe Editions. While the Standard Edition is self-explanatory – focusing on the movie itself – let’s take a deeper look at our Premium Editions, starting with the Deluxe Edition which sounds absolutely delicious (whether you’re a monster or not)!
Godzilla Minus One Deluxe Edition
We are very excited to bring Godzilla minus one Presented to you in the form of a deluxe edition, it’s worth owning! For starters, this version of course comes in a hard slipcase, and inside you’ll find a Digipak to keep four (yes, four!) discs safe.

Within the confines of its pages, you’ll also find Masahiro Ishiyama’s thoughts on the original film and color grading for Godzilla Minus, as well as an article on the operations that brought the film to life. This comprehensive nature extends to the disc content, where you’ll find the following:
- Disc 1: 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray movie

- Disc 3: Blu-ray version of “Godzilla Minus” (Exclusive to the Deluxe Edition!)
- Disc 4: Bonus Blu-ray disc with special features, all with English subtitles

In addition to this, our bonus Blu-ray (containing all subtitled content) includes the making of the feature film, visual effects featurettes, special behind-the-scenes programming, extensive action footage, and a host of trailers.
Digging into some technical details, the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray includes the 4K movie presented via Dolby Vision HDR, with the Japanese audio in Dolby Atmos (with English subtitles) and the English dub in 5.1 audio. Both the Blu-ray and Blu-ray Plus color versions of the movie come with Dolby Atmos Japanese audio, English subtitles and 5.1 English audio.

Turning now to our Steelbook set, here are the things to note.
Featuring a Steelbook showcasing this incredible work of art, the set will contain a total of three discs:
- Disc 1: 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray movie
- Disc 2: Blu-ray movie
- Disc 3: Bonus Blu-ray disc with special features, all with English subtitles
All disc content, specifications and bonus features on these discs match the content, specifications and bonus features of the corresponding discs in the Deluxe Edition, with all the same bonus features once again with full subtitles.

Godzilla Minus One Standard Edition
Last but not least, the film will also be available on standard edition Blu-ray or DVD, as shown below.
Both releases will include a disc containing only the Japanese version of the film, with English subtitles and an English audio presentation. As with the other releases, the Blu-ray will feature Dolby Atmos for the Japanese audio and 5.1 audio for the English dub, while both audio presentations on the DVD will feature 5.1 audio.
Godzilla Minus One will be available on Blu-ray and DVD at all retailers for a suggested retail price of £19.99 and £17.99 respectively.
