Sony’s Mars A TV show currently in development by Amazon will reportedly be rebooted two years after it was first announced. The adaptation reportedly lost its showrunner and lead producer as the two companies looked to take existing scripts in different creative directions.

While the game’s director Cory Barlog remains an executive producer on the project, other creative leadership appears to be no longer involved.

This is the second time a PlayStation adaptation has struggled despite HBO’s success.
