We’ve now had a brief look at the $700 PS5 Pro, which launches this November. Fair warning: this is a very limited look indeed. Just photos, not touched yet!
Given that Sony has yet to reveal its big, expensive console update, and the excitement surrounding the company’s just-announced limited-edition PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection, I thought you might want to take a look anyway.
Additionally, I can now confirm its USB port arrangement: unlike what we’ve heard before, the console’s two USB-C ports will be on the front and two USB-A ports on the back.
Here are some photos. First up is the PS5 Pro. Then there’s the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection, which includes retro gray versions of PS5 Pro, PS5, DualSense, DualSense Edge, and PlayStation Portal, all of which contain new versions of Sony’s Easter egg microtextures, including another PlayStation with a “30” next to it symbol.
