Masaru Sato fans, get ready to hit the theaters (and maybe get on a plane), because Jujutsu Express’ Hidden Stock is getting a compilation movie.
The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the best animes I’ve seen in a while, and while I particularly enjoyed certain episodes, the first of the season, “Hidden Inventor/Premature Death,” was clearly the The most outstanding. From the slice-of-life opening, to the ridiculously high-octane moments of all five episodes, to the emotional beats that absolutely destroy you, this is an arc that could easily stand as its own stand-alone series. Apparently others feel similarly, and this week, the anime’s official Twitter account announced that the short will be adapted into a compilation film, scheduled for release sometime in 2025.

Unfortunately, these are all the details available right now, but hey, you can always rewatch Hidden Inventory while sorting out all your Gojo-Geto shipping needs. It’s not uncommon for popular anime to have compilation movies, especially for series with shorter episode counts, and considering the length of Season 2’s Shibuya Incident arc, Hidden Inventory feels like the perfect arc to jump into. Wire. Sometimes, these movies add new scenes and revamp the animation, but don’t hold me over on that because that doesn’t always happen. There’s also zero word on whether the movie will be released outside of Japan, so you might want to consider saving up for a flight and hotel so you can see last year’s biggest anime ship on the big screen.

This will obviously help fill in the gaps for Season 3, which has been confirmed to go into production immediately after Season 2 ends, although details are also scant. It’s a good thing that more anime is coming, and last week it was finally confirmed that Jujutsu Kaisen is coming to an end, with just four chapters left, with the final one set to be released on September 30th. .
