Before premiering at the Venice Film Festival, Wolves A sequel is being filmed.
Jon Watts has a deal with Apple to write and direct a sequel to his movie starring Brad Pitt and George Clooney as repairmen who accidentally end up working on the same thing Work. It’s unclear if a deal has been struck for Clooney and Pitt to return.
As part of the sequel news, Apple announced that the film will be released on Apple TV+ on September 27, after having a limited theatrical release on September 20 through Sony. It was previously expected to be widely released.
WolvesProduced by Clooney’s Smokehouse and Pete’s Plan B, with Amy Ryan, Austin Abrams, Poona Jagannathan, Richard Kind and Zlatko Brie Starring. Watts and McGunig executive produce alongside Clooney, Grant Heslov, Pitt, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner. Michael Berg serves as executive producer.
Pitt will appear in another Apple production, F1, from director Joseph Kosinski and producer Jerry Bruckheimer. Other recent and upcoming Apple games include a Matt Damon movie starring Doug Liman demagoguethe recently released World War II drama directed by Steve McQueen Blitzkrieg.
Watts is best known for directing the latest movies Spider-Man Sony trilogy, final film, No way homebroke box office records, reaching a global box office of $1.9 billion.
