Microsoft has Officially launched Game Pass Standard is the new middle tier of subscription services similar to Netflix, and it reveals from the start which games will and won’t be included. Game Pass Standard, announced earlier this summer, is priced at $15 per month and includes online multiplayer and a library of hundreds of games that can be downloaded and played on demand. The big difference between Game Pass Standard and Game Pass Ultimate, Now available for $20 per monthis that the former will not add certain first days to the library until After up to 12 months and in some cases even longer. The most notable example is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6which will only be part of Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass PC when it launches on October 25th.

When will we see these and other games hit the mid-level? This is the most confusing part. There doesn’t seem to be a standard way yet, with all versions staggered by the same number of months. Even Microsoft’s own first-party versions seem likely to arrive around the time the standard is released. Indiana Jones and the CircleFor example, it likely won’t be Game Pass compliant until it debuts on PS5 in the spring.
